By now I had a collection of very fuzzy Hen Harrier pictures, luckily I thought to ask someone with more experience than me for advice and the top tip was to use manual selection point, making sure the subject is in focus rather than just the middle of the picture, I could have learnt this by ready the manual before setting off, but I prefer trying to learn in the field! And the result is my first good shot, although the Harrier slightly turn its head away, but you can't have everything! Whilst I was waiting a male Bullfinch perched quite close, so it seemed rude not to get a picture.
